About NSEE

North and South Esk Elementary School (NSEE) is home to 146 students and is known for its strong sense of community and collaboration. At NSEE, we work together—staff, students, families, and community partners—to create a great place for learning. Our school environment is welcoming and well-organized, fostering high academic achievement, positive behavior, healthy living, and a strong sense of responsibility to our school, community, and environment.

We are most proud of the warm and inclusive atmosphere at NSEE, where every student feels a strong sense of belonging. Our commitment to continuous improvement is reflected in our ongoing efforts to enhance both our facilities and programs. However, the true highlight of our school is the happiness and engagement of our students, which speaks volumes about the supportive and nurturing culture we’ve cultivated.

NSEE is also a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, which means we focus on creating a positive school culture. Through proactive strategies, we define, teach, and support appropriate behaviors, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for everyone.

The support we receive from our community is another aspect we are extremely proud of. From generous donations to active participation in school events, our strong community involvement truly enhances the resources available to our students and strengthens the bond between the school and the community.

Finally, we are excited to share the addition of our outdoor walking trail and classroom. These spaces allow students to learn and explore in a natural setting, promoting both physical activity and a love for the outdoors. Whether it’s a science lesson, creative writing, or simply an opportunity to get outside, these new spaces make learning even more engaging and dynamic.
